​Inspired by the chilling urban legend, Eleanor (Dee Wallace; E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Cujo, The Howling), an elderly widow, must survive the night when something that moves on all fours gets inside her isolated farmhouse… and reaches for her in the dark.

 

Eleanor hasn’t left her home in years. The outside world has faded, but inside these walls is everything she has left, memories, routines, and her loyal dog, Cheyenne. When a violent storm knocks out the power, the house falls into a suffocating silence.

Then come the sounds. Scratching in the walls. Slow movement across the floors. Breathing just out of sight.

 

Now trapped in the dark, Eleanor is forced into a brutal fight for survival as the presence reveals itself, crawling, watching… getting closer. The farmhouse she refused to leave has become a prison, and whatever is inside isn’t just hunting her…

it’s been there all along. Eleanor will face the truth behcind the legend,
and learn that some things don’t just lurk in the dark… they live there.
